Welcome to the National Directorate of Labour
The National Directorate of Labour is a unit under the Ministry of Employment.
We are responsible for the administration of the labour market related benefits paid out by the unemployment insurance funds or the local municipalities in case of unemployment, sickness, leave or voluntary early retirement from the labour market.
We are also responsible for the legislation on the right to have holidays and holiday pay.
